Preliminary- Location planning

There are various locations throughout the Knock You Down music video.  In order to create the most accurate recreation we wanted to find locations that matched those in the video itself.

For these shots, a white background is needed.  We decided that we are going to use a green screen for this as then we can insert a plain white background and it'll look sharp and clean instead of attempting to find a perfectly white wall.

Final location- the filming studio in the media block at college.

For these shots, Kanye is sat on a window ledge.  We needed to find a window ledge that was firstly low enough to sit on, but also not too high that it could cause a hazard.  We found that the window ledges in and around the media block in college would be suitable for this.

Final location- the media office in the media block at college.

For these shots, Kanye is stood looking out the window.  There is a long shot of him stood on his on looking out the window as well as later in the music video when he is joined by Keri.  We decided that the window ledge we planned to use previously for the sitting down shots would also be suitable to use for these shots too.
