Editing digipak

Over the past few days I had to retake my digipak shots as the person on it before cancelled meaning I had to adopt the role of the performer.  Therefore it made sense to have me on the digipak because the digipak promotes the artist and that is now me.

Here are some images of my editing throughout. I used tools to smooth my face, change exposure and add texture.

As my friend cancelled I had to retake my digipak images with myself in them.

Sunset filming

This evening I filmed Andy and Izzy together at sunset.  The lighting was beautiful and just what I wanted.

Filming for performer element of music video

Today I filmed in my garden myself so I could add a performer element to my music video.  I set up the Canon 700D camera and filmed myself lip syncing.  As my friend cancelled on me, I have now had to adopt the role of the artist.

Videoing Andy

Today I did some filming with Andy Brown, the male actor who is going to be in my music video. We went to Nottingham University to film.

Changing colours

Today I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the colouring of my music video.

Lapsley Concert

Today my dad took me to London to go and see Lapsley, the artist whose song I am creating my music video for.  We believed this would give me some inspiration.

Editing Digipak

Today I edited pictures I had taken of Amy for my digipak using Adobe Photoshop.

I cut the second image for my back cover down to a square shape and added text in the font 'snowinter' which I found on Dafont.com

Editing Progress

Today I began to edit some footage for my music video.  I used Adobe Premiere pro to do this.  I inserted my song Love Is Blind and began to match some shots to the music.

Filming with Izzy

Today I filmed some shots at sunrise with my model Izzy.  The girl I had previously planned on using dropped out so now Izzy is going to be in my video.

Today I created practice shots of what I could possibly use in my video.

Digipak photoshoot

Today Amy and I went to a few different locations.  We started off on Baulk Lane in Stapleford which is a country lane with trees surrounding either side of the path.  The lighting here was intermittent which I liked as it fitted my 'exposure theme' although I did have some struggles with the settings on the camera.  The white balance wouldn't focus so some of the images were overly exposed.

The next location I went to was Bottom Park in Chilwell.  Here there is a greenery area where I took the majority of my photos.

The light exposure was off in all of these photos.
